Mascot Design Contest
Design the Mascot for FanCon 2027!
Show off your art skills and creative spirit to personify FanCon 2026! Take our mascot, ‘Flick the Frog,’ and draw a version of him that best represents this year’s theme. As we celebrate our 10th year of FanCon the theme is: History!
The contest runs until October 20, 2026!
The artwork must be submitted digitally to: matthew.vandervoet@dsbn.org with the subject line “Mascot 2027”
The winner will be announced on November 1, 2026, and will receive a prize pack donated by the vendors from FanCon 2026. Artist credit will also be promoted at the event and repeatedly throughout the year on social media.
Student entrants who meet the conditions are eligible for 2 hrs of community service!
Conditions
Art must be submitted digitally!
Do not include background art or colours!
The character must depict Flick the Frog in some way, but may be a stylized interpretation of the character!
