Boffer Sword Creation
Work with our volunteers to create a foam dagger to use in LARP or boffer combat! This workshop is free, and you get to take your creation home with you! Please refrain from engaging in LARP combat within the convention outside of designated areas!
Cardboard Costume Creation
Enter the cardboard pile! Your task? To create the best costume you can using only cardboard and duct tape! Your design is yours to keep, and be sure to sign up in the cardboard building space for the special Masquerade category: Cardboard Creation!

Grafitti Wall
Show us your art skills! The Grafitti wall is a public space for artists to work collaboratively to celebrate their fandoms and time at FanCon! Pick up a marker or pencil crayon and express yourself!
The Kid's Zone
The Kid's Zone is a room filled with activities for younger guests! Colouring Contests, face painting and more! The Kid's Zone is open for kids of all ages! Please be sure to not to leave children unattended.
Live Action Chess
Live action chess (presented by Live Chess By The Falls) is a version of chess, where people in costume represent the pieces and enact battles as pieces are captured. The game will be played by top ranked chess players in the DSBN!
Masquerade
The Masquerade is FanCon's prestige costume contest! Visit the Masqurade booth in the guest area to register for one of the categories!
The Riddler's Challenge
The FanCon Riddler has hidden QR Codes throughout the convention! Find the clues and solve the puzzle! The first person or group to confront the Riddler with the correct solution wins a prize! Wait too long however and the Riddler may escape!
